Indians on February 26, woke up to the news of 12 Indian Force Mirage-2000 jets bombarded major terrorist launch pads of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed in Balakot in retaliation to the deadly suicide attack on a Central Reserve Police Force convoy in Pulwama on Feb 14, at the height of diplomatic tensions between the two nations. 

Netizens from eminent politicians to Bollywood celebrities were ecstatic and took the opportunity to praise the Indian Air Force for the precision of the strike on Twitter and other social media platforms. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took away the cake for initiating the mission.

In keeping the mood, Twitter was flooded with people a music video that was initially released by the BJP before the Pulwama attack.

The singer took a cue from the popular 'Apna Time Ayega son in Gully Boy  and composed a song that sings praises of Narendra Modi calling him, 'Banda Apna Sahi Hai.'

The video is 2.38 minutes long and features a montage of various stills and clips of Modi in the past five years and enlists the achievements of the BJP government in the ongoing term. Government schemes such as Digital India and New India, the government's initiative in providing LPG connections and electricity to villages also featured in the propaganda video.

"How's the Josh? High, sir" the dialogue from the Vicky Kaushal-starrer 'Uri The surgical Strike' that took the entire nation by storm was also used in the rap song as a chorus toward the end. The video was first shared by film director Vivek Agnihotri before going viral on Twitter.

 

Hours after the air strike, the Prime Minister addressed the nation from Chru, Rajasthan and said, "I want to assure you that India is in safe hands."
