Ranu Mondal's daughter Elizabeth Swati Roy received much backlash from netizens for abandoning her mother. A resident of Kolkata, Swati has however denied all such allegations and has, in turn, accused Ranu's manager now, Atindra of mishandling her money. Amidst all such controversy, a song has surfaced on the internet where the two are humming a song together and Swati is as good as her mother. if not more.
In the video, the two are seen singing Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyaar Ke Charche - a Mohammed Rafi song from the 1968 movie 'Brahmachari'.
The video was shared on an Instagram page dedicated to Ranu Mondal, where it has been viewed over 10,000 times. Watch it below:
The video has collected a ton of appreciative comments from people praising both Ranu and her daughter.
Meanwhile, Ranu Mondal's first playback, a Bollywood number with Himesh Reshammiya's music released today. The song from the movie Happy Hardy Heer features Ranu along with Himesh and co-star Sonia Mann.
