Zedd has been “permanently banned” from China for liking a tweet by South Park that celebrated the show’s 300th episode. The German DJ whose real name is Anton Zaslavski, announced the news on his Twitter account writing, “I just got permanently banned from China because I liked a @SouthPark tweet,”.

The decision to ban the DJ came just days after the American sitcom got into a tussle with China after the sitcom aired an episode called “Band in China” that took a dig at the country’s strict censorship policy.

Following the airing of the episode Beijing had responded by censoring contents relating to “South Park” on their online services and social media sites.
