The second season of Bigg Boss Marathi finally came to an end last night and former Roadies contestant Shiv Thakare emerged as the winner. He walked away with the winner's tropy and prize money of Rs 17 lakh. Six contestants - Veena Jagtap, Shivani Surve, Neha Shitole, Aroh Welankar, Kishori Shahanehad and Shiv made it to the finals, but it was Shiv and actress Neha Shitole who were fighting for the first spot.
Later, host Mahesh Manjrekar declared Shiv as the winner of this season. Shiv also shared a video thanking his fans for voting for him and making him win the show. He captioned it, "Hello everyone!! Your Shiv is back with the trophy!! And today I have won because of you all. Thank you thank you so much. Love you all and God bless you! You all are the winner! You all are the best!"
Apart from winner's trophy and the prize money, 'Bigg Boss Marathi 2' winner Shiv Thakare also got a film offer from host Mahesh Manjrekar. The show's host promised Shiv a lead role in one of his upcoming films during the grand finale last night.

Shiv Thakare was a part of Roadies Rising and was a part of Rannvijay Singha's gang. Shiv was one of the semi-finalists.
