The trailer of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Bigil after much delay has finally released and has taken netizens and fans of the actor by storm.
Directed by Atlee, the film is a sports drama, which revolves around the women's football team that has been coached by Vijay's character. Nayanthara plays as a footballer in Vijay’s team plays a crucial role in the film.
The first look, songs and posters of the film created quite a hype and now after the trailer has hit the wen its that started trending on Twitter with more than 9 lakh tweets.

Shah Rukh’s tweet find relevance as he too potrayed the chahacter of a sports coach to a women hockey team in Chak de India that was a commercial success and remembered by his fans as one of his best roles so far.
Vijay is seen in two avatars in the film, one as a young man known as ‘Bigil’, who later coaches the girls team, and the other as Rayappan, who seems to be a local don. The trailer features several shots of girls undergoing rigorous training on the pitch, as well as the anger and resentment towards Michael off the pitch.
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar was full of praise for the trailer and wrote, "What an outstanding trailer this is Atlee!!!!!! Has BLOCKBUSTER written all over it!!!!! It’s going to MASSIVE!!!! Big congratulations to Thalapathy Vijay and the team!!!

Bigil made on a staggering budget of Rs 180 crore also stars Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Indhuja Ravichandran, Varsha Bollamma and several others apart from Vijay and Nayanthara. Bigil will hit the screens on October 27.
