Shoot for Kamal Hassan starrer Indian 2 is going in full swing. The movie is slated for 2021 release but director Shankar and the actor-politician are already all set for the third shooting schedule, which is set to happen in Andhra Pradesh.
Indian 2 team recently wrapped up the secound schedule of the film in Chennai and Kamal Hassan's look for the film was widely circulated via social media. Scenes involving Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, and Kamal Haasan were shot in the city.
A fight sequence was also part of the Chennai schedule, according to reports along with few stunts that were choreographed by Peter Hein, a frequent collaborator with Shankar.
Indian 2 is a sequel to 1996 hit Tamil release Indian. The original had Kamal in dual roles of father and son. The film told the story of Vigilante Senapathy who roots out corruption from the system.
It is said that the second schedule will also involve high-octane stunt sequences. Many CGI sequences are to be part of Indian 2 and looks like the makers were right to push to release date to 2021. Shankar seems to have learnt his lessons from the delay of 2.0.
In addition to that, the film, which is against corruption, will release around the Tamil Nadu state election, which will also happen in 2021.
Kamal is currently busy hosting the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3, which has become a success yet again.
