After the exit of Hina Khan from Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, female protagonist Erica Fernandes might bid adieu to the show. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Erica’s exit track is being worked upon by the writers of the show. A source told Mumbai Mirror, "The writers are currently working on how to justify her exit. At the moment, they have yet to figure if Erica will be replaced."
When Erica was contacted to confirm the news, she said that, "I wouldn't want to comment on this."If latest reports are to be believed, Karan Singh Grover, who played the role of Prerna’s son-in-law in the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay, might portray the role of Mr. Bajaj in the show’s reboot version.Â
Meanwhile, Erica made her television debut in the year 2016 with the show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi where she was paired opposite Shaheer Sheikh. In Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which started airing last year, the actor is seen opposite Parth Samthaan and rumours have it, they both are even dating each other in real life.
Recently when Erica was feeling unwell on the sets of the show and the shooting had to be halted, Parth was by her side the entire time. Erica even celebrated her birthday with him in Mussoorie.
