New Delhi:

Aly Goni has confirmed his exit from Star Plus' popular daily soap 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' on social media. The actor, who is seen playing the role of Romi Bhalla in the show, has been associated with YHM for over four years now. Aly took it to Instagram to share the news with his fans. Aly posted an emotional message for his co-star Karan Patel, where he revealed about his exit from 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'.

He wrote, "It's been almost 4 years now I met this man @karan9198 and I never thought that this man is going to be my favorite person my elder brother my best friend my family here.. thank u so much yhm no matter where ever I will be working next but he will be always and only brother and yes no one can take his place ever I love u bhai thank u for everyyyything."

While the news might have left everal Aly Goni fans heartbroken, the reason behind his exit is yet to be known.

Interestingly, it's been a while that reports of Goni's exit from YHM has been doing the rounds on internet. However, Aly had then stated that while he is still looking at other things, the YHM makers are not letting me go. "I am looking at a few other things, yes, but I’m not leaving the show yet. They (makers) are not letting me go now," Aly had earlier stated.

While the makers are reportedly figuring out how to show Aly's exit on the show, we wonder if YHM will have a replacement for the actor.

Currently, the daily soap is going through a high voltage emotional drama as Ishita has revealed the truth of Adi-Roshini's wedding to Aaliya.
