Ace of Space contestant and lifestyle blogger Danish Zehen passed away after a tragic car accident on December 20, 2018. Many of his fans turned up for his funeral to mourn the death of their favourite blogger and reality TV star. Ace of Space host, Vikas Gupta also condoled the death of Danish Zahen on his Twitter account. However, ex- Bigg Boss contestant Arshi Khan has expressed her disgust over the show’s makers for sensationalising Danish Zehen’s death by showing the shocked expressions of housemates. She also lashed out at Vikas Gupta for not attending the prayer’s meet of Danish and has also called for an investigation of Danish’s death.
She tweeted, ‘'Here's why I'm angry. #DanishZehen died & instead of informing his friends off camera, @MTVIndia decided to capture their raw emotions & make a sensational episode out of it. Tribute episode for audiences was good but capturing shocked housemates on camera for trps - disgusting.’’

Earlier Vikas Gupta had tweeted, "One of the most difficult day of my life. So much has happened and just in a matter of 24 hours. A life left us and now I need to tell my other houseguests. Strength and prayers for #DanishZehen Loved Ones RIP Zehen." He had also shared a video of contestants reacting to the tragic death news of Danish captioning it, "No one can prepare us for some truths like this #AceOfSpace #DanishZehen #Houseguests."Â
