After creating a lot of buzz over his mid-air fight with co-star Sunil Grover, Kapil Sharma is finally back on television. While speculations had been riff about Kapil's return with second season of The Kapil Sharma Show, the actor-comedian has something bigger in store to cheer fans further.
Going by the rumours, the upcoming series will be a game show with dollops of comedy and Sony TV on Friday took to photo-blogging site Instagram to unveil the new promo of the same.
According to reports, Kapil Sharma shot for the new promo on February 9 and the clip, shared two hours ago is doing rounds on social networking sites. It has already garnered over 173,750 'likes' while the comment thread has been flooded with good wishes from fans across the country.
In the 34-second-long video we see an auto-rickshaw driver is making fun of Kapil's unemployment state and the comedy king did not take much time to give a befitting reply to him. While the auto-rickshaw has refused him for the ride saying that he cannot pay, Kapil Sharma took a bus and went away. The twist is that Kapil Sharma is back and this time with a 'never seen before' avatar.
"Laut kar aaraha hai @kapilsharma Sony Entertainment Television par, kuch alag lekar. Iss baar hasi ke alaava kuch aur bhi hai jo jayega dekar. Kya, kab aur kaise? Jaanne ke liye dekhte rahiye Sony Entertainment Television," Sony captioned the promo.
The new show is said to be inspired from an American game show, The Hollywood Squares.
There are also reports that many old members from The Kapil Sharma Show are expected to take part in the series, while this time too Sunil Grover is out of the scene.
The makers are working hard to make it the greatest show of all times and will announce the title and time of the series anytime soon.
Earlier, due to his ugly spat with Sunil Grover, a few actors quit The Kapil Sharma Show. Following this major set back, the comedian has suffered several health issues like depression, low blood pressure and anxiety.
Post that, he went on a break to a detoxification centre in Bengaluru and now is all set to hit the television with a BANG !
Also starring Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in key roles, the comedy flick hit the screens on December 1, 2017.
