On Tuesday, TV actress Ruhi Singh was booked by Mumbai Police for allegedly damaging at least seven vehicles with her speeding car in Mumbai's Santa Cruz. The police informed the media about the incident. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday when the 30-year-old model turned actress was allegedly in an inebriated state, dashed her car with other vehicles, a police official said. Four two-wheelers and three cars were damaged, but no one was injured, he said. A video of the incident has gone viral where Ruhi can be seen arguing with people who had gathered around her car. She was seen accusing police of assaulting her.

Meanwhile, Calendar Girls actress Ruhi Singh was shocked to find her name being used in this drunk-driving case involving a team of Mumbai Police on Tuesday. After the controversy over a viral video which involves another actress with the same name, Ruhi Singh took to her Instagram account to issue a clarification.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 2 am, when Ruhi was on her way back home in a car with friends Rahul and Swapnil. When they were on the Khar stretch of Liking Road, one of them wanted to use a food outlet's washroom. When not allowed to do so for being closed for the day, the trio kept banging the door and began abusing the food outlet staffers, after which one of the staffers alerted the police control room.

When a police patrolling van reached the spot to intervene in the matter, the trio allegedly misbehaved with the police team and assaulted police, after which all the three were booked. Rahul and Swapnil were arrested immediately, but Ruhi was allowed to leave as a female accused cannot be arrested after sunset.

The official said a case has been registered against the actor and investigation was underway.
