Popular television actress Hina Khan, whose much hyped entry on the season 2 of Kasautii Zindagii Kay generated a lot of curiosity among the viewers, will no longer be a part of the show post March, 2019. Yes! As per the latest media reports, the runner-up of the 'Bigg Boss' season 11, won't be shooting for Kasautii 2 due to her prior commitment to films.
Khan, who is currently seen essaying the role of Komolika in Kasautii 2, was reportedly not happy with her character. However, in her recent LIVE chat on Instagram, the actress dismissed the reports of her being unhappy and stated that in the view of her commitments to films, she needs to take a break from the show.
Being asked if it would be her permanent exit from the show, Khan said she might or might not return to the show, adding that the production house of Kasautii has understood her concern and given her a break from the television series.
Elaborating further on the reason behind her exit, Hina said the production wanted her to stay and it was she who wanted to go and the reason is only films. "They understood and have given me a break. You never know I might come back," the actress was quoted as saying during her live session with fans.
The actress, who won millions of hearts with her role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is heading to Cannes later in 2019 with her new film Lines, and aslo having some international projects in the pipeline.
According to sources, Hina will soon start shooting for the film, in which she will be playing the character of a responsible and independent girl. The story of the film will be revolving aruoud the life of Kashmir valley in 1990s. Apart from Khan, veteran actress Farida Jalal is likely to be featured in a pivotal role in the film.
The season 2 of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, starring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan in lead, has been delivering some mind-boggling episodes, to keep the viewers hook onto their television sets throughout the time.
