Comedy King Kapil Sharma is all set to host his final wedding reception in Mumbai on Monday. The actor, host and ace comedian married the love of his life, Ginni Chatrath in an intimate ceremony in Jalandhar after which the couple hosted a lavish reception in Amritsar for close friends and family on December 14. His big fat wedding was preceded by a ‘jagran’ cum ‘mata ki chowki’ ceremony in Amritsar and Anand Karaj ceremony at Ginni’s home earlier in December.
Kapil’s reception in Mumbai will be held at JW Marriot on December 24, 7:30 PM onwards. The reception is expected to see a host of Bollywood’s big names in attendance. A card of the Mumbai reception invite is online too and reveals details of the venue.
Before getting married, Kapil took to Instagram to make his wedding news official. The note that he shared read, “With great joy in our hearts and blessings of our parents, it gives us immense pleasure to announce that Ginni and I will embark on a new journey of love, respect and togetherness on 12th December 2018. We would like to thank each and everyone who has been a part of our wonderful sojourn and seek the best wishes and prayers of all our loved ones.”
While we can't wait for pictures and updates from the reception, Kapil will be back with season 2 of his show, The Kapil Sharma Show that will go on air from December 29 at 9:30 PM. The makers earlier released a promo of the show along with Kiku Sharda, Rohit Shetty, and Ranveer Singh. In the promo, Kiku takes a funny jibe at his year-long sabbatical.
