Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 fans witnessed a major twist last week in which Prerna aka Erica Fernandes ditched Anurag Basu aka Parth Samthaan to marry Rishab Bajaj aka Karan Singh Grover after which the former was hospitalized and the newly weds flew off to Switzerland.
Just like the oppulence that was shown in both the weddings one the Bengali way at the 'Basu bari' and the other at Rishab's place , a lot was spend on the decors and sets for filming the sequence.
Want to know how much the makers shelled out for the wedding sequences? Well, a whopping Rs 27-30 lakhs, something equivalent to the budget of an actual lavish Indian wedding.
While Anurag and Prerna's wedding was to take place Bengali style, Bajaj and Prerna's wedding setup was all Punjabi. And, since both the cultures are involved, the makers came together to try and bring as much grandeur to the sequence as possible.
A source from the team shared with an entertainment portal that from the bride and groom’s costumes to the decorations, to the food, to the ceremonies and rituals, everything was done with proper care and detailing. The upcoming episodes of Kasautii Zindagii Kay will show Switzerland in bits and parts as Anurag is in his mission of winning back Prerna and Rishav Bajaj making live difficult for both. After the couple comes back from Switzerland things will worsen for Prerna as a new cast will join the show as a relative to Bajaj.
