A few days back, an entertainment website reported that Rakhi Sawant had secretly married an NRI at JW Marriott in Mumbai. The reports further stated the actress wanted to keep the news of her wedding a private affair, which is why she got married in a hotel room in the presence of her family. The actor, however, quashed the reports and clarified that she was doing a bridal shoot. But now, Rakhi has finally confirmed that that she got married recently in a private ceremony and her husband is an NRI.
Now talking about her wedding, the actress told Times of India, ''Yes, I got married on July 20. Actually, main darr gayi thhi. I wanted to have a quiet, hidden wedding.''
She further added, ''Ritesh and I got married at JW Marriott in Mumbai. He is a Hindu NRI and I am a Christian, so I did a court marriage and had a Catholic wedding. The wedding was intimate with just family members.''
When asked if she is planning to shift to UK, Rakhi replied, ''Not now. He wants me to continue to work in the industry. He said, ‘Why don’t you make films? I said ok’. My husband works with Donald Trump’s company as an employee.''
Ever since her wedding, Rakhi Sawant has been posting various pictures on her social media account in which she is beaming with joy and can be seen flaunting her sindoor and chooda with hubby Ritesh's name.
