Old TV shows in new glamorised avatars, Nostalgia connects instantaneously

Remember the time when all the ladies in the house would gather during the evening hours and watch their favourite 'saas bahu' serial being aired on television? The time has not changed a lot, where the family members still continue to curl up around the TV sets to watch their favourite shows. However, bringing back the same shows that once were part of their lives! The producers surely know how to fill their audiences with nostalgia.  Hindi television industry has always been a booming one. Old TV serials dolled up and glamorised to a new avatar is the new trend of the Indian tele-world. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Hum Paanch, and Ssshhhh…..Phir Koi hai 3, are some of the daily soaps that were given a new look and presented to the audiences.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2

Ekta Kapoor's popular romantic drama Kasauti Zindagi Kay is once again ready to rule on the audience's heart. The soul of the show revolves around the two jilted lovers Anurag and Prerna. The new faces have been introduced in this reboot version, but their destiny remains the same. 

Hum Paanch

One among the most popular comedy family drama of the past was brought to life with an entirely new cast, after almost a decade. The show was started on June, airs on Big Magic channel. The crux of the story remains same and except for the cast, no major changes have been implemented. Same drama, same concept, probably same punch lines have been used, as they were in the first season.

Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai 3

Scared to death, Ssshhhh…..Koi hai was a nightmare to the 90s kids. The third season of the Indian thriller/horror television anthology series created by Cinevistaas Limited and Contiloe Entertainment was back in March 2010. However, the show was short-lived and soon departed in May 2010.
