Arfin Rana Mir has won the popular singing based reality show on Star Bharat 'Om Shanti Om'. The young singer from Kolkata has bagged the winning trophy but also took home a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh.
It is indeed a big momment for Arif who is yet to believe his achievement. "I am on cloud nine. The feeling of winning the trophy of Om Shanti Om has not sunk in yet. This is one of the best moments of my life. I am thankful to Star Bharat for giving me this platform," Arif was quoted as saying.
He further thanked the audience for their support and aims to be the best playback singer in the country.
"I am indebted to the viewers for their constant love. I pray that my journey of becoming India's best playback singer starts on a bright note," he added.
Om Shanti Om was a devotional singing based reality show and was judged by Sonakshi Sinah, Kanika Kapoor and Shekhar Ravjiani along with Yog Guru Ramdev as Maha Guru.
The Dabangg actress was quite happy with Arif emerging as the winner and said that he deserved it in every manner.
"Arfin Rana Mir is a well-deserved winner of Om Shanti Om. He does complete justice to the title. Every week, I would wait for his performance as he sang all the songs with so much of 'jashan'. I wish him all the very best for a melodious and bright future," Sonakshi said.
