Shweta Tiwari's ex-husband and father to daughter Palak, Raj Chaudhury has blamed the actress for everything that recently happened with their daughter.
Raja Chaudhary has alleged that Shweta was busy with reality shows and used to leave Palak at home.
Shweta Tiwari on Sunday filed a police complaint against her husband Abhinav Kohli for allegedly slapping, making obscene comments and showing vulgar photos to her daughter, Palak Tiwari.
In an interview with Mid-day, the Bhojpuri actor said"This was expected. My ex-wife is responsible. My ex-wife was busy with a reality show and our daughter was alone at home. Once, when I entered their house in Malad, I was shocked to see the way he [the accused] was staring at her and touching her inappropriately. This riled me up and we had a heated argument. The matter reached the Malad police where I slapped him at the police station premises."
Sweta and Raja were married for nine years after which their called it quits in 2007.
Earlier, Raja had called the incident disturbing and had called the incident 'disturbing'. Raja had told TOI, "I learnt about it through the media. I have been in touch with my daughter and checked on her this morning. She told me not to worry and that she is fine. It's very disturbing for me as a father."
Hours after Shweta filed a police case against Abhinav, Palak also shared a detailed note on Instagram adding more light to the happening. She clarified that her stepfather had never 'physically molested' or 'touched her inappropriately'. However, she added, "he did persistently make inappropriate and disturbing remarks the impact of which is only known to my mother and I, and if any woman from any walk of life were to hear them she would be greatly embarrassed and provoked too. Words which would question the standing dignity of any woman, which you wouldn’t expect to hear from any man, especially not your “father”.
Shweta Tiwari's mother-in-law o the other hand had foul play in this whole episode. She had claimed that Shweta wanted to get rid of Abhinav for the last two years and the two have not been on good terms. She said that Abhinav has taken care of Palak since she was a kid and when Sweta was at the Bigg Boss house.
The rumours of trouble in Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav's marital life have been making headlines for the last two-three years.
Shweta met actor Abhinav Kohli on the sets of Jaane Kya Baat Hui. The duo fell in love and dated for three long years before getting married in 2013. They have a two-year-old son, Reyansh together.
