New Delhi:

Following the Pulwama terror attack in which atleast 42 CRPF jawans were killed, several Pakistani artists were banned from working in the Indian film industry. Recently the All India Cine Workers Association also announced a total ban on Pakistani artistes in Bollywood. Their statement read as "We are officially announcing a total ban on Pakistani actors and artistes working in (our) film industry. Still, if any organisation insists on working with Pakistani artistes, (it) will be banned by AICWA and strong action will be taken against them. The nation comes first, we stand with our nation."

Also, if reports are to be believed, Salman Khan has decided to drop Atif Aslam’s song from his upcoming project, Notebook. A report in Pinkvilla read, "Salman Khan has asked his production house Salman Khan Films to replace Atif Aslam song from Notebook."

Now fans are requesting Salman Khan to take severe action against Kapil Sharma for supporting Navjot Singh Sidhu. The actor is producing Kapil Sharma’s ongoing TV show. Even filmmaker Ashoke Pandit has requested Salman to act against Kapil. He took to his Twitter account and wrote, ''Dear @BeingSalmanKhan. Would like U to act against @KapilSharmaK9 for supporting @sherryontopp ' s antinational activities. This request is being made to U as you are the producer of the show. #BoycottKapilSharma @SonyTV."

Last week, Navjot Singh Sidhu said about the Pulwama attack, "For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual?" news agency PTI reported. He also added, "It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished."
