After 14 years, the popular medical drama ‘Sanjivani 2’ is all set to return to television with some new cast and interesting new perspective. The third instalment of the soap opera to feature Surbhi Chandna and Nami Khanna in lead roles.

Many Indian television stars have been associated of the original ‘Sanjivani’ series and its sequel ‘Dill Mill Gaye’ at some point. All the stars have sent their best wishes for the show which includes Drashti Dhami, Jennifer Winget, Karan Wahi, Amit Tandon and Karan Singh Grover.

Even filmmaker Karan Johar shared a tweet on his Twitter handle which reads, “Congratulation to @sidpmalhotra and Sapna on the start of this super show! Major ratings on their way! Congratulations NAMIT for your major foray into television! Here’s to watching more of you in the future! @StarPlus starts TOMORROW August 12th 7.30 pm Monday -Friday!’’.

In reply, Siddharth wrote, “A show that gave me my indentity in television I bring back today with loads of love and passion and whom better than my mentor, guide and someone I always look upto to wish me and begin today’s post to remind all of us to tune in tonight @StarPlus 7 30 pm #Sanjivani episode 1’’.

The plot of the show ‘Sanjivani’ revolves around the personal and professional lives of doctors and the kind of positivity that surrounds them and the positive attitude they exude and how they help their patients and keep them above their own lives.

The original series of Sanjivani was telecasted on Star Plus from 2002-2005 and its sequel Dill Mill Gaye premiered on 2007 on Star One.

Sanjivani 2 will air on weekdays at 7:30 on Star Plus.
