Recently, some reports were making round that Sunil Grover may soon join Kapil Sharma’s show after a gap of almost two years. But, it is now confirmed that Sunil is not joining his showanytime soon and the fans of both Kapil and Sunil may not like the news much. As we all know that Sunil Grover is currently busy with his comedy show on television Kanpur Wale Khuranas which began airing from December 15.
Apart from this, Sunil is also busy with Salman Khan starrer much-anticipated flick of the year Bharat and is occupied with the shoot for the next two months.
Earlier, there were reports that Sunil comedy show Kanpur Wale Khuranas is going off-air due to low ratings and may join Kapil Sharma’s show soon but the producer of the show Preeti Simoes told The Times Of India and cleared the air about his joining the Kapil’s show.
She said, "Sunil is already pre-occupied with the shooting of his film with Salman and Katrina and I don't think taking up any other show in the middle of it will be possible for him. In fact, we need dates from him to wrap up the last chunk of Kanpur Wale Khuranas and he doesn't have time at all. It is getting very difficult for us to get a date from him for the last schedule’’.
Sunil also revealed that he signed Kanpur Wale Khuranas just for eight episodes. He said, "It is because of me. I had signed the show for 8 weeks ONLY because my dates were locked for Bharat (Salman Khan's film), the movie. I had made this clear even during the press conference and interviews that I could only accommodate this much time. I am kickstarting the last leg of shoot for Bharat from today, and I just want to thank the team who made this show happen including the channel and the guests who accommodated dates because of my schedule’’.
The Kapil Sharma recently returned to the Indian television after a long gap of almost a year and half years and the show features Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakraborty and Chandan Prabhakar in different character from the first season. Navjot Singh Sindhu is also a part of the show.
