Disha Vakani aka our very own Dayaben from 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is all set to enter a new phase of life.
The soon mommy-to-be is in her final trimester and is expecting her first child with her husband Mayur Pandya. The duo took nuptial vows in the year 2016.
The talented actress was recently joined by her close friends and family for a baby shower. She looked pretty dressed up in a traditional sari and floral accessories.
Her on-screen son Bhavya Gandhi aka Tapu was part of the joyous occasion. The cast of her hit sitcom including Dilip Joshi (Jethalal), Ambika Ranjankar (Komal Hathi), Kavi Kumar Azad (Dr. Hansraj Hathi) and Munmun Dutta (Babita) were also present at the function.

Disha has taken a break from the show and will return after a period of five to six months.

'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is one of the longest running shows on Indian television and has completed more than nine years. The sitcom recently entered the 2300 episodes club.
Disha has been an integral part of the show and plays the role of Daya Jethalal Gada. Television viewers simply love her as Dayaben's garba dance and pillow phrase ''Hey Maa Maataji'.
