Yeh Rishta Kya Keh Lata Hai is one of the most popular shows on Indian television. The Mohsin Khan-Shivangi Joshi starrer has entertained the audience for a very long time.Â
The daily soap which is doing extremely well at the ratings front has successfully completed nine long years on Friday. Yeh Rishta is the longest running serial on the small screen with over 2500 episodes.
The show has managed to hook the viewers with its storyline and chemistry between the leads. Mohsin and Shivangi play the respective roles of Karthik and Naira in the Star Plus daily drama.

Lata Sabharwal, who plays the role of Naira's grandmother, shared a picture from the first day of the shoot. For the uninitiated, the beauitful actress has been a part of the soap opera from the very beginning.
At a time when shows go off air within three months, it's quite a big achievement for Yeh Rishta team to complete nine years.
