Sony Entertainment Television scaled new heights last year on the back of Kaun Banega Crorepati 9. The Amitabh Bachchan hosted show set the ratings chart on fire and remained unbeatable throughout the season.
The channel replaced the popular reality show in October with two daily soaps- Ek Deewana Tha’ and ‘Haasil’. Both the shows managed to garner decent fan following in the last few months.
However, grapevines have started buzzing with the news that one of the two shows which replaced KBC 9 will shut shop in February. We are talking about ‘Haasil’.
The thriller which features Nikita Dutta, Zayed Khan and Vatsal Seth in lead roles was always meant to be a finite series. Bollywood star Zayed Khan made his small screen debut with the show which focused on the story of two brothers.
The show from the stable from Alchemy Productions became quite popular on social media but couldn’t fetch good ratings for the channel. Reports suggest the makers are working to give a logical end to the show next month.
