After a prolonged period of endless drama and entertainment, Bigg Boss 13 came to an end with Sidharth Shukla reigning as the champion and Asim Riaz as the runners up. However, a day after the controversial show ended a contentious tweet emerged from former Colors employee Feriha alleging that the show was "fixed" and that the show's winner Sidharth Shukla allegedly received fewer votes, adding she can’t be part of it anymore.

The twitter user’s tweet led to tweeple wondering and questioning the show and the process of the voting system. As for the tweet, Asim, has himself put down his foot to dismiss the claims once and for all. Reacting to the claims, Asim, as per news agency IANS said,
"Kuch bhi aisa nahin hai. Fixed kuch bhi nahin hota... Audience ke pyaar ki wajah se main yahaan tak pahuncha aur wo (Sidharth) bhi jeeta hai. So, fixed kuch nahi hai... it's just real. Jo hai saamne hai toh aisa kuch bhi nahin tha. (Nothing of that sort happened. Nothing was fixed.. I reached this far and Sidharth won the show thanks to all the love of the audience. So, nothing is fixed... it's just real. (whatever happened is there before your eyes and nothing of that sort happened)," IANS quoted Asim as saying.
As for Asim, who was hailed the winner on Twitter by fans, he came close to winning the show against winner Sidharth by bagging the runners up. The top six contestants competing to win the coveted Bigg Boss 13 trophy were Arti Singh, Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, Paras Chhabra, Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla. While Paras walked away with Rs 10 lakh cash prize, Arti Singh was the first contestant to get eliminated on the show. Rashami was the next to be voted out of the show. Shehnaaz became the second runner-up with Rashami’s eviction. The season opened with the plan of 105 days but mid-way, the makers decided to extend the show for five extra weeks.
