BARC India Ratings 2018 Week-43 is out. It's time to check the BARC TRP ratings (Urban and rural) for your favourite Hindi TV shows. Taking some by surprise, Kumkum Bhagya on Zee Anmol made an impressive climb, overtaking Naagin-3 from the stable of Colors, to clinch the top spot in the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) TRP week 43. Kumkum Bhagya, starring Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha, is directed by Sameer Kulkarni and Sharad Panday.
Naagin-3 loses its grip a little. But, not easy to be easily beaten, Ekta Kapoor's thriller show continues to captivate viewers at second spot for the week. The TV show star cast includes Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani, Pearl V Puri, Amrapali Gupta, and Karishma Tanna and Rajat Tokas.
Kundali Bhaygya from Zee TV, which was at second spot last week, fell to third and fifth position, pushing out the KBC show. The popular Zee TV show has been racing ahead of others in the BARC TRP with its exciting storylines and twists. Kundli Bhagya features Dheeraj Kapoor and Shraddha Arya in lead roles.
Another from Zee Anmol - Mahek moved up to rank fourth among top five of the BARC TRP week-43. The sequel is directed by directed by Cariappa Appaya, Faheim Inamdar and Pushpender Singh. The cast includes Samiksha Jaiswal as Mehek Shaurya Khanna/Mehek Singh Mann (2016-present) Karan Vohraas Shaurya Harish Khanna/Shaurya Singh Ahlawat.
Interestingly, the urban and rural ratings show a marked difference. Going by urban impressions, Naagin-3 from Colors, Kundali Bhagya from Zee TV and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai from Star Plus shine at first, second and third positions respectively. However, based on rural impressions, Kumkum Bhagya from Zee Anmol, Mahek, again from Zee Anmol and Rabba Ve from Star Utsav are rated first, second and third respectively in the BARC India Ratings Week 43.
