Mumbai:
Bollywood choreographer Geeta Kapoor on Friday courted controversy after she knocked down a pedestrian in Versova, Mumbai.
According to reports, Geeta Kapoor hit a pedestrian Nisar Noormohammed with her sedan outside a medical store at 5 am on Friday.
Noormohammed came out of a medical store after buying some medicines and was trying to cross the road when the accident happened.
Good Samaritan Geeta did not sped away from spot but called an ambulance first to help Noormohammed reach Kokilaben Ambani hospital.
Later she was arrested by Mumbai police.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone IX) Vinayak Deshmukh, “She was not drunk at the time of incident and was later released on bail.”
