Karan Oberoi has been in news for quite some time now but all for the wrong reasons. The Band of Boys singer was arrested after a woman falsely accused him of rape and extortion.
The actor however, got a clean cheat after the police found out that the charges filed agaist him were false and the attack was orchestred when she was taking a morning walk .
The actor has been clearing his name in the public for some time now and is also revealing much about his personal life and relationships in the past.
Karan was dating his television serial Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin co-star Mona Singh but called it quits 13 years ago. Talking to SpotboyE, Karan revealed why he had to let go his relationship with her. “I wanted to be with her. She is a wonderful girl and a great artiste. We were too young and different as people. Mona is very social, always bubbly but at that time marriage was not something she was looking at. Her career was going great guns and she wanted to focus on that.” said the singer turned actor.
Currently, Mona lives close to Karan’s building. When asked if the actor engages in social exchanges the actor said, "There is just social hi and hello if we meet but no animosity as such. You can never behave ill with someone you have loved."
Karan had played the role of Raghav Oberoi in the series where Mona portrayed the character of a geek called Jasmeet Walia.
On workfront, Karan was last seen in the show Zindagi Badal Sakta Hai Hadsaa in 2008
