Nach Baliye Season 9 wild card entrant Pooja Banerjee had an unfortunate early exit from the show after she suffered severe injuries during her recent performance and had to be admitted at the hospital.
Pooja recently shared a sneak peak of her performance where the she is seen falling down strand on the stage. In the video the Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2 actress tries to climb up on her hubby Sandeep Jaiswal's shoulder to stand and perform a step when she looses her balance and fall down flat. Other contestants shocked seeing Pooja falling from that height immediately comes to her rescue.
Pooja, meanwhile, has also posted a sneak peak of the video with a caption that read, "Here is the sneak peak of Jodi No 14 #PooSa is about to do on Nach Baliye S9 but of course without me since you all know I had an accident while rehearsing this dance... So please watch the episode for my Baliye @sandeepsejwal. I am so proud of you Sandeep that you performed this dance without me while I was due for my surgery. Love you."
Talking about Pooja’s injury, Sandeep has earlier informed that she fell from above 10 feet from the ground and landed on her hands. The impact was such that she hurt both her hands — the joint of her right wrist is fractured, while the left elbow bone is chipped. Pooja has also sprained a ligament in her left leg. Doctors are waiting for the swelling to subside before they perform the surgery.
Confirming their exit, he added, “Since the show is about couples, I don’t think we will be able to continue. So, we are opting out.”
Pooja and Sandeep were among the four wild card couples on the show including Urvashi Dholakia - Anuj Sachdeva, Madhurima Tuli - Vishal Aditya Singh and Avinash Sachdev-Palak Purswani.
