Mumbai:
For the first time, actress Alia Bhatt would be seen in the role of a destitute worker from Bihar in upcoming film “Udta Punjab”.
The 23-year-old actor, who is known for portraying urban girl in films, will be seen mouthing chaste Bihari dialogues in “Udta Punjab”.
“Good morning!!! and here we go.. #AliaInUdtaPunjab,” she posted on Twitter.
In the picture, an injured Alia is seen to be fleeing from some danger.
The looks of other actors—Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh—in the film were out earlier.
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film deals with substance abuse in Punjab. It will hit theatres on June 17.
