The star cast of Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra starrer Bharat is getting bigger and better with every passing day. After bringing on-board Tabu, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover for the film, the makers have now added another veteran actor to their team.
The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, which went on floor in April, has brought the popular on-screen couple of Salman and Priyanka after over a decade. Aasif Sheikh, who is currently winning hearts as Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the hit serial Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, is the newest member of Bharat.
The talented actor will reunite with Salman Khan after 12 years, according to the official Twitter handle of the film. The two actors have worked together in films like Karan Arjun, Bandhan Auzaar, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar.

Aasif Sheikh was glad to be working with Salman Khan once again. While talking to Indian Express,t he actor said, “I am happy that I am doing Bharat with Salman Khan. He is one of the best persons I have known, he is also one of the finest actors. I have known him before his first film, Maine Pyar Kiya. We first worked together in Karan Arjun and now we’ll be sharing screen space after more than a decade. He is a superstar, but he has not changed, he is still the same person I knew then. Of course, we had lost touch in between, I would meet him once or twice in a year. I am glad this worked out.â€
Salman Khan’s films usually hit the silver screens on the occasion of Eid and Bharat is no different. The much-awaited film based on South Korean film Ode To My Father is slated for an Eid release in 2019.
