Versatile actor Kangana Ranaut has never disappointed her fans and it seems she will not do so in her next film as well. She garnered heap of praises for her role of a Haryanvi girl in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. And now the Queen of Bollywood will be seen playing the role of a housekeeper in Hansal Mehta's upcoming flick ‘Simran’.
The first look of Simran has been released. Kangana is seen clad in a dress with an apron and removable collar. Simran is the story of an ambitious girl, who later gets addicted to the world of crime. Interestingly, Kangana is not playing Simran but Praful Patel in the movie.
According to reports, Simran is allegedly inspired by the life of an NRI nurse in the US, Sandeep Kaur, who was jailed last year for robbing banks to pay off her gambling debts. Simran is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh. The film is set to hit theatres in August, 2016.
