Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Varun Dhawan, the lead actor of 'Sui Dhaaga' took to photo-blogging site Instagram and unveiled the first look of the film.
"EXCLUSIVE-मौजी और ममता से मिलिए २८ सितम्बर को| #madeinindia🇮🇳 #SuiDhaagaFirstLook #SuiDhaaga @yrf @SuiDhaagaFilm @anushkasharma 28th sept 2018 directed by @sharatkatariya," Varun captioned the poster.
“ममता और मौजी आ रहे है २८ सितम्बर को | #SuiDhaagaFirstLook,” sharing another picture from the movie Anushka wrote.
It seems that both the actors have left no stone unturned to look into their characters and successfully transformed themselves for the film.
In the poster, Anushka wearing a saree, bangles and vermilion will make you remember of a newly married girl from 90s while Varun is taking us back to a bygone era with his 'never seen before' avatar.
Be it Anushka's role as a embroiderer or Varun's well crafted look of a tailor, both the characters are setting the tone of the movie which promotes the campaign of Make In India.
Helmed by Sharat Katariya, the movie aims to take the mantra of 'Made in India' to millions of people and will celebrate patriotism in a rather entertaining and meaningful way. It will also be a visual treat for the audience to watch Varun and Anushka romacing together first time on the screen.
Last week, both Varun and Anushka attended a workshop to prep for their roles in the movie.

Earlier, talking about a few latest developments in the film producer Maneesh Sharma said, "It is amazing to see the dedication that the two actors have for Sui Dhaaga - Made In India. It is a film that will most certainly touch your hearts and their characters are rooted in the heartland of our country. Varun and Anushka are leaving no stones unturned to grasp their characters completely before the shooting starts."
"Love often blossoms amidst shared hopes and common aspirations. In Sui Dhaaga, the lead characters empower themselves by fighting against all odds in unison and find incredible love and respect for each other while following a common vision of self-reliance. Like everything in the film, it’s a love story that is truly Made In India. It is only apt that the film is starting on a day that celebrates true love," Maneesh said.
