Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar has now donned the cap of industry’s famous villain ‘Gabbar’.
The teaser of the movie was officially launched on Friday by the filmmakers.
Talking about the motion poster, ‘Gabbar is Back’ but not quite entertaining. In fact, Akshay looks very similar to the original Gabbar from ‘Sholay’ in the sketch.
The original Gabbar’s character was a masterpiece in the form of Amjad Khan, however, if Akshay will be able to do more justice to the role is a question still unanswered.
The teaser poster also holds an audio message for the fans in Akshay’s heroic voice- “pachas pachas kos dur jab koi rishwat leta hai toh sab kehte hai mat le warna Gabbar aajega.â€
The tagline decodes that unlike the real Gabbar, this Gabbar will erase all the corruption from society.
‘Gabbar Is Back’ also features Bollywood actress Shruti Hassan and Sonu Sood in significant roles.
Akshay Kumar as ‘Gabbar’ will hit theatres on May 1.
