Karan Johar’s second Netflix outing as a producer, Drive after much delay in release will start streaming from November 1 and seems to re-run of Dhoom, where cars replace bike. Car chases and a unthinkable theft plan dominates the trailer and appears to be a half-hearted effort of copying stunts from movies like Fast and Furious and the kind.
Producer Karan Johar shared the trailer of the film on Twitter with the caption, “Strap in tight...your heartbeats are going to start racing.”
The ‘Drive trailer reveals that Sushant plays a Formula One test driver. while Jacqueline is into street racing. They team up after a few, ‘vacay at exotic locales sequence’ to pull out a theft of 300 kg at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
As the team tries to execute their plan, issues of trust act as a speed breaker and they soon get nabbed by the police as they try to flee. Boman Irani is seen advising his aid Pankaj tripathay, “No matter how fast they race they won’t be able to escape us.”
With speeding swanky cars and glamourous dance numbers, the film tries to give audience a massy entertainer that nowhere fits the Netflix zone.

Drive also marks Sushant and Jacqueline’s first project for Netflix. Jacqueline is already working on her next Netflix film with Shirish Kunder titled Mrs Serial Killer. Sushant for the first time will reveal his action hero avatar.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the action film also features Vibha Chhibber, Sapna Pabbi and Vikramjeet Virk. The film was initially supposed to release in theatres around Holi this year but was later moved to September 7 and then to November 1 at Netflix.
