Busy shooting for upcoming web series, Abhay Doel admits to taking a snooze with director Mahesh Manjrekar while on sets. Pulling legs of fans with the witty caption, Doel writes, “I finally did it. I slept with my director. On set with Mahesh Manjrekar. I’m a @hotstar’’ the post shows Deol in khaki form with a thin moustache for his role laying in deep slumber alongside the director.
As per reports, the upcoming web series will be the most expensive original produced by Hotstar and will involve a plotline based on the 1962 Indo-China war and the Rezang La battle led by Major Shaitan Singh.
Doel who appears to have shifted his focus on web series was last seen in Netflix film, Chopsticks alongside Mithila Patkar. He was also seen in Jungle Cry. The film featured Abhay Deol and Emily Shah in major roles and showed the journey of 12 kids and a coach who takes India forward by winning an international rugby tournament.
