Rumours have it that Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju aka Tormund is likely joining the world of the witcher in Henry Cavill’s upcoming The Witcher season 2. Talks about the character from the fictional continent of Westeros joining the world of the witcher started circulating in the Twittersphere when director Stephen Surjik, who has been in Scotland scouting locations for the upcoming season - posted a picture on Instagram that included the hashtag "#kristoferhivju" after tagging both Cavill and Anya Chalotra, aka Yennefer.
While Surjik removed the post later, assuming, it’s too much of a spoilers, hungry-eyed netizens can’t help but assume what in the world is Tormund doing in the world of the witcher? The speculation was made even more evident when The Witcher experts Redanian Intelligence found out that Hivju has recently followed not one, not two, but three Witcher-related social media accounts, humphhh!
With that, fans are convinced that Hivju could appear as Nivellen, a man cursed to look like a bear that Geralt meets in "A Grain of Truth", one of the short stories that comprises The Last Wish, the first book in the Witcher Saga.
It speculation of Hivju does turn out to be true, if will be joining other casts from GoT like Maggy the Frog in GoT and Yoren in the cross-over between the two fantasy shows.
