RBI Assistant Recruitment Notification has been released. All interested and eligible candidates need to apply for the Assistant posts on the official website of Reserve Bank of India, i.e. rbi.org.in. It is to note that a total of 926 vacant positions are going to be filled through this recruitment drive. Apart from this, the last date to apply for the Assistant post is January 16, 2020.
The online Prelims exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on February 14 and February 15, 2020. In addition, the Main Exam (Online) is tentatively scheduled to be held in the March, 2020.
Candidates, other than fulfilling above mentioned eligibility criteria, need to have Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at-least 50 percent marks with knowledge of computers. In addition, candidates need to be in the age group of 20 – 28 years and should not be born before December 2, 1991 and after December 1, 1999.
RBI Assistant 2019: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Language Proficiency Test. The Prelim exam will have three sections of English Language, Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. In addition, the Main exam will comprise questions from the sections of Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. The Prelims and Maine exam will have 100 and 200 questions respectively.
