Indian Navy recruitment notification has been released for Sailor posts for the 2020 Batch. All eligible unmarried male candidates need to apply for the SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) and AA (Artificer Apprentice) posts on the official website of Indian Navy, i.e. joinindiannavy.gov.in from 08 November, 2019. In addition to this, the last date to apply for the Indian Navy Sailor Vacancy is November 18, 2019. It is to note that a total of 2700 vacant positions of Indian Navy AA and SSR are going to filled through this recruitment drive.

The number of vacancies released for Sailor - Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) and Sailor - Artificer Apprentice (AA) is 2500 posts and 500 posts respectively.
Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) post, candidates need to have passed class 12 examination with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized board. In addition, for the post of Artificer Apprentice (AA), candidates need to have passed class 12 exam with minimum 60 percent marks with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects.

Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment: Salary Package
All shortlisted candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month during the training period. After completion of training, candidates will be paid in the scale of Rs 21,700 – Rs 69,100 with Rs 5200 and DA as applicable.
