High Court of Judicature at Patna has released official recruitment notification for Law Assistant Posts. Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online at patnahighcourt.gov.in. It is to note that the last to fill the online application form is September 25, 2019.
Law Assistant Post: Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the Law Assistant post, candidates should be a Law Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university or college that is approved by the Bar Council of India. The applicant also needs to have passed LL.M./LL.B. The examination with 2 years of date of publication of the advertisement will be considered for selection.
Other than this, eligible candidates need to submit the duly filled application form within 21 days of the release of the official advertisement, I.e. latest by September 25, 2019. The honorarium that will be paid to shortlisted candidates will be Rs.15,000 per month.
The shortlisted Law Assistants will be assigned to respective Hon'ble Judge of the High Court under the specific orders of the Chief Justice. This will enable law assistants to support the Hon'ble judge who is responsible in collecting facts of different cases and gathering research content in statue law, case law, etc. In addition, the law assistant may have to work either at the residence of the Hon'ble Judge or in court or in the court’s library as required by the respective Hon’ble Judge.
