New Delhi:

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made an important announcement while presenting the Union Budget 2020-21. The government is now set to streamline all Non-Gazetted Government Jobs Recruitment process through a single Common Eligibility Test that will be conducted by National Recruitment Agency. Seeing the unorganized recruitment process when it comes to filling vacant positions for Group B and Group C level, the step of setting up a National Recruitment Agency has been taken and presented in the Union Budget 2020.

Relation between National Recruitment Agency and Government Job Aspirants

It is observed that government job aspirants face a lot of problem when it comes to apply for the Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C (Non-Technical) posts. From delay in admit cards to exams getting postponed, candidates usually don’t get any clear updates and notification regarding the Non-gazetted government jobs they are applying.

To streamline this entire recruitment process of Non Gazetted Posts in Group B and Group C, and provide candidates a single platform to access all government jobs notification, the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) is going to be set up. Now, NRA will conduct the single Common Eligibility Test for all types of Government jobs in the level of Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C (Non-Technical) and Clerical cadre.

NRA will work as an independent recruitment agency that will conduct the online Common Eligibility Test for the recruitment to non-gazetted posts. To understand the NRA Framework in a better way, consider NTA (National Testing Agency) that works as a single agency for conducting CMAT, JEE Main, GPAT, NEET and NET exams.

National Recruitment Agency setup is expected to release the burden from government recruitment bodies such as SSC, RRB and IBPS. This will also benefit government job aspirants to find all non-gazetted government jobs notification under one common platform.
