India Post has invited application for 3650 GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) posts in Maharashtra Postal Circle. A total of 3650 vacant positions for GDS posts are going to filled at various locations of Maharashtra such as Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune and Solapur. All interested and eligible candidates need to apply for the India Post GDS 2019 posts through the official website, i.e. appost.in latest by November 30, 2019. Al candidates need to go through the official notification and eligibility criteria carefully before apply for the GDS posts.
The number of vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevaks is 3650, which includes the positions of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. It is to note that the Salary of Branch Postmaster (BPM will be Rs 12,000 and for ABPM/Dak Sevak the salary is Rs 10,000 per month. The minimum TCRA for 5 hours/level 2 in TRCA slab for BPM and Dak Sevak Posts are Rs 14,500- (Rs. 14,500-Rs. 35,480) and Rs 12,000- (Rs. 12,000-Rs.24,470) respectively.
In order to apply for the India Post GDS post, candidates need to have passed class 10th exam from a recognized board with passing marks in English and Mathematics. Other than this, it is mandatory for candidates to have studied the local language at-least till class 10th as compulsory or optional subject as declared by state government.
Candidates need to be in the age group of 18 to 40 years to become eligible for the GDS posts.
