The West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) has invited applications for the recruitment of Technician Apprentice/Graduate Trainees. Candidates who are eligible and interested to apply for the given posts can apply through the prescribed format on the official website, i.e. mhrdnats.gov.in. In addition, it is to note that candidates must make sure to apply on or before September 14, 2019.
The total number of vacancies for Apprentice Trainee, Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) and Technician Apprentice (Electrical) posts are 56, 16 and 40 respectively. Other than this, the stipend to be offered for Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) and Technician Apprentice (Electrical) is Rs. 4984 and Rs. 3542 respectively.
Candidates who wish to apply for the Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) should have done graduation in electrical engineering. Further, candidates who wish to appear for Technician Apprentice (Electrical) post need to have Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technology (03 years full time course). The age limit for Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) and Technician Apprentice (Electrical) is 22 years and 18 years respectively.
Importantly, the selection will be done based on merit from the list of registered candidates on the official portal of National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
