Eastern Railway recruitment notification has been released for Apprentice Posts. All eligible and interested candidates need to apply through the prescribed format latest by March 13, 2020. Candidates need to visit the official website of Eastern Railway, i.e. rrcer.com to check the official notification and apply accordingly. It is to note that Eastern Railway is going to fill 2,792 vacant apprentice positions through this recruitment drive. Candidates must make sure to go through the official notification and eligibility criteria carefully before applying for the respective posts.
Out of the total vacancies released by Eastern Railway, a total of 659 positions are for Howrah Division, 526 positions are for Sealdah Division, 412 positions are for Asansol Division, 684 positions are for Jamalpur Division, 101 positions are for Malda Division, 204 positions and 206 positions are to be filled for Liluah and Kanchrapara Workshops.
In order to apply for the Apprentice post, candidates need to have passed class 10th examination with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board and should have National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade. Candidates in the age group of 15 to 24 years are eligible to apply for the respective posts.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit that is prepared in regard to all eligible candidates who applied for the Apprentice post. The application fee for the Apprentice post is Rs 100 whereas SC/ST/PWBD candidates are exempted from application fee payment.
