SSC CGL 2017 Final result has been declared, and all those candidates who appeared for the SSC CGL Exam 2017 can check the result on the official website of Staff Selection Commission, i.e. ssc.nic.in. According to the official notification released by the commission, a total of 8120 candidates are shortlisted provisionally for appointment against 8121 vacancies. It is to note that out of the total vacancies, 4143 candidates are shortlisted under general category while the rest vacancies are to be filled by candidates of reserved category.
In the earlier notification released by the commission it was mentioned that the SSC CGL 2017 result will be released in the month of November. SSC CGL Tier I exam was conducted on July 8, 2018 and held the skill test and document verification from June 16 to July 31, 2019. In addition to this, SSC has notified earlier that the commission was engaged in the process of SSC CGL 2019 exam according to the annual calendar. This is the reason there was delay in the releasing the SSC CGL 2017 result.

SSC CGL 2019: Important Notice
Importantly, Staff Selection Commission has released a notification that clearly states that all eligible and interested candidates who wish to appear for SSC CGL 2019 exam need to apply before November 25, 2019 and not wait for the last date due to heavy traffic on the official website.
