TNPSC Group 2 Main Exam pattern has been changed by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. All candidates need to visit the official website of TNPSC, i.e. tnpsc.gov.in to get detailed information on the TNPSC Group C 2019 exam pattern. All candidates are advised to go through the exam instruction and TNPSC Exam pattern for Group 2 carefully to avoid any kind of problems in future. Meanwhile, all those candidates who qualify the Paper 1 will be eligible to appear for Paper II exam.
The TNPSC Paper 1 exam will be 100 marks and candidates need to score at-least 25 marks to qualify. In addition, according to board officials, the marks obtained in the TNPSC Paper 1 exam will not be counted for the rank list and only those candidates who are well versed in Tamil language can qualify in the translation paper.
The TNPSC Paper II will include questions on Essay Writing, Comprehension and Letter Writing. The total marks of the Paper II will be of 300 marks. It is to note that the Tamil Paper will be only for those who can read and write Tamil.
The time duration of the Prelims examination will be of 3 hours and will comprise 300 marks. The minimum qualifying marks to clear the exam is 90 marks. The Paper 2 will be of 3 hours and the total marks of the exam are 300. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in TNPSC Paper 1 and TNPSC Paper 2.
