CTET 2019: Last Date For Registration Extended By CBSE, Exam To Be Conducted On December 8

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for CTET 2019 registration. The last date to apply is now till September 25, 2019. The Board has also extended the fee payment date till September 30, 2019. Candidates who wish to apply for CTET 2019, can visit the official website i.e. ctet.nic.in and apply. Earlier, the last date to apply was till September 18, 2019, which has been extended by CBSE till September 25, 2019. The exam will be conducted on December 8, 2019.

Other than this, the exam is conducted in two phases that include Paper 1 and Paper 2 for primary teacher and elementary teacher respectively. The CTET 2019 syllabus includes child development & pedagogy, social studies, language 1 and 2, mathematics and science and environmental studies. As the number of applicants has increased, CBSE has decided to conduct the exam across 110 cities in India. The qualifying marks in CTET is 60% and 55% for general category and reserved category students respectively.

CTET 2019: How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET on ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link available on the homepage which says CTET December 2019

Step 3: The link will redirect to a new page. Click on the Apply link to apply for CTET 2019

Step 4: A new page will open. Enter requisite information and click on submit button to proceed

Step 5: Download the application form for further reference.

Candidates of general category will have to pay Rs 700/- as examination fees only for Paper I or Paper II and Rs 1200/- for both Paper I and II. For SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person, candidates will have to pay Rs 350/- for Paper I or Paper II and Rs 600/- for both Paper I and Paper II. The payment should be online by debit card/credit card or net banking.
