CTET (Central Teaching Eligibility Test) is conducted by CBSE, and is a national level examination. Candidates need to apply quickly as the registration process of CBSE CTET 2019 is closing today. The exam is held to determine the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as teachers at upper primary ad primary schools. The CTET exam is conducted twice in a year, one in July and one in the month of December. The upcoming CTET Exam is going to be held on December 8, 2019. In order to appear for the CTET Exam 2019, candidates must visit the official website and read the eligibility criteria in detail.

Other than this, the exam is conducted in two phases that include Paper 1 and Paper 2 for primary teacher and elementary teacher respectively. The CTET 2019 syllabus includes child development & pedagogy, social studies, language 1 and 2, mathematics and science and environmental studies. As the number of applicants has increased, CBSE has decided to conduct the exam across 110 cities in India. The qualifying marks in CTET is 60% and 55% for general category and reserved category students respectively.

Importantly, Candidates who score more than 60% marks in both the papers will be awarded the CTET Eligibility Certificate. The exam will be conducted in online mode, and the duration of the CTET exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The medium of the paper will be in English and Hindi, and there will be no negative marking.

It is to note that the tentative date for the release of CTET 2019B admit card is November 10, 2019.
