HP SET notification 2019 has been released by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. All interested and eligible candidates need to apply online on the official website, i.e. hppsc.hp.gov.in. It is to note that the last date to apply online is December 30, 2019 till 11:59 PM. The HP SET 2019 is being conducted by the commission to determine the eligibility for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professors in the colleges and universities of Himachal Pradesh. The HP SET 2019 is going to be conducted for 22 subjects in exam centers located at Solan, Mandi, Shimla, Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Kullu, Nahan, Chamba and Una.
In order to apply for HP SET 2019 exam, candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates need to have obtained at-least 55 percent marks without rounding off in Master’s Degree from Institutions/Universities that is recognized by UGC are eligible for the HP SET test. The Master Degree course should be in Humanities and Social Sciences and Computer Science and Applications.
Candidates who are in their final year of Master Degree programme and those are awaiting their MA degree course result are also eligible to apply for the HP SET 2019. It is to note that all Ph.D. Degree holders who are interested to apply for HP SET must have completed their degree by September 19, 1991. They will also get 5 percent relaxation in the aggregate marks.
