Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University has released recruitment notification for Assistant Professor posts in the Departments of Economics, Statistics, History, English, Journalism, Political Science, Sociology and Hindi. LSR, DU Recruitment notification is released to fill the respective positions on the Ad-hoc basis. All interested and eligible candidates need to visit the official website of Lady Shri Ram College, i.e. lsr.edu.in to apply online. The last date to apply online for the respective posts is February 3, 2020.
A total of 78 vacant positions of Assistant Professor are going to be filled through this recruitment drive in various departments. Out of all vacancies, 11 vacancies are Economics, 1 for Computer Application, 4 for Commerce, 13 for Political Science, 5 for Philosophy, 1 for Psychology, 6 for Sociology, 4 for Sanskrit, 2 for EVS, 5 for Elementary Education, 5 for Journalism and English and 6 for History.
Candidates belonging to General, EWS and OBC category need to pay the application fee of Rs 500 while SC, ST and PWD category candidates are exempted from the application fee payment.
In order to apply for the Assistant Professor post, candidates need to have Master Degree in the relevant subject with 55 percent marks from a recognized university. In addition, candidates need to have cleared the UGC NET or CSIR exam.
